The Bearing Guard consists of 4 terminal blocks A, B, C and D, a display, and associated control elements. The terminal blocks are coded and therefore non-interchangeable connection elements.

The Bearing Guard reliably analyzes the status of rolling-contact bearings in accordance with the VDI 3832 procedure and signals limit violations via floating contacts.
