The SM724I current measuring module is an option for diagnosis by means of current measurements and is connected to the LA 724ISSR power output module.
The module is required when heat emitters are connected in parallel and failure of a single heat emitter is to be detected using a current measurement.
It is installed in the control cabinet on a stable mounting surface (recommended) or on a DIN rail.

Note on cable to be used between LA724I SSR power output module and SM724I current measuring module
It is recommended that a 3 x 2-core cable is used with a cross-section of 0.75 mm2 whose cores are twisted together in pairs.It is not necessary to use a shielded cable.
