Существую 3 типа кабелей для различных областей и сред применения:
- Стандартный кабель Industrial Ethernet FC: стандартный кабель, пригодный для использования технологии FastConnect.
- Трейлинговый FC кабель: кабель специального исполнения, используемый для подключения оборудования на движущихся частях и выдерживающий повышенные механические воздействия.
- Морской FC кабель: кабель, сертифицированный для использования в судовых установках, имеющий витые жилы и оболочку, не содержащую галогена.

FastConnect

Применение технологии FastConnect позволяет совместить в одной технологической операции удаление оболочки и наружного экрана кабеля на заданные размеры. На разделанный кабель производится быстрая и простая установка соединителя RJ45 FC.

Монтаж кабеля

Во время транспортировки и монтажа на концах кабеля должны сохраняться герметизирующие наконечники, устанавливаемые на заводе-изготовителе. Во время монтажа не допускается нарушение требований по допустимому радиусу изгиба кабеля, а также превышение допустимых тяговых усилий.
